A group of bored teenagers rebel against authority in the community of New Granada after the death of one of their own. Over the Edge is a 1979 American English-language Crime Drama motion picture featuring Michael Kramer, Matt Dillon, Pamela Ludwig, Vincent Spano, Harry Northup, Tom Fergus and James William Newport. Orion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) George Litto. Over the Edge is written by Charles S. Haas and Tim Hunter and it is directed by Jonathan Kaplan. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Over the Edge was released on 7th July 1979 and takes a screen time of 95 min. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The motion picture made a box office gross of $339 million. Cinematography was done by Andrew Davis and editing by Robert Barrere. The music was composed by Sol Kaplan.
