Open Water 2: Adrift is a 2006 English-language Adventure Drama film featuring Eric Dane, Susan May Pratt, Richard Speight, Niklaus Lange, Ali Hillis, Cameron Richardson and Joe Mercieca. The movie is inspired from Adrift by Koji Suzuki. Orange Pictures in association with Peter Rommel Productions and Shotgun Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dan Maag and Philip Schulz-deyle. Open Water 2: Adrift is written by Adam Kreutner, Collin Mcmahon, David Mitchell and Richard Speight Jr. and it is directed by Hans Horn. Universum Film acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Open Water 2: Adrift was released on 1st February 2007 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Open Water 2: Adrift was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $6 million. Cinematography was done by Bernhard Jasper and editing by Christian Lonk. The music was composed by Gerd Baumann.

Unfortunately, it doesnt really create any tension, just a kind of depressing inevitability.Adrift has its moments but its a frustrating film in many ways and doesnt really work as a thriller unless youre a confirmed hydrophobic. ( Read More )
