Once Upon a Time

The Tikbalang Puga searches for the magic crystal which will restore peace in his land. His dangerous quest leads him to earth where he meets three young men. Once Upon a Time is a 1987 American Tagalog-language Comedy Adventure film featuring Joey Lawrence, Billy Joel, Natalie Gregory, Cheech Marin, Bette Midler, Robert Loggia and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The movie is based on Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Walt Disney Feature Animation and Silver Screen Partners III. were the production houses involved in the project. The movie is directed by George Scribner. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Once Upon a Time was released on 4th January 1987 and takes a screen time of 73 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Once Upon a Time was made on a budget of $31 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $74 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jim Cox, Tim Disney and James Mangold. The music was composed by J. A. C. Redford.
