Once a Thief

Three orphans are raised by a crime boss and a police officer, forming a close bond with them and learning how to steal paintings, but when one of them is believed to be dead and then returns in a wheelchair, their friendship is tested and they end up planning their own heist, causing conflicts with their crime boss. Once a Thief is a 1991 Cantonese-language Action Comedy movie featuring Chow Yun-fat, Leslie Cheung, Cherie Chung, Kenneth Tsang, Yun-fat Chow, Kong Chu and John Woo. Golden Princess Film Production in association with Milestone Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Terence Chang and Linda Kuk. Once a Thief is written by John Woo, Janet Chun and Clifton Ko and it is directed by John Woo. Golden Princess Amusement acquired the distribution rights for the film. The film has a running time of 103 minutes. Cinematography was done by Poon Hang-sang and William Yim and editing by David Wu. The music was composed by Violet Lam.
