Pooja Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anupam Kher and Vashu Bhagnani. Om Jai Jagadish is written by Rumi Jaffery and Rahul Nanda and it is directed by Anupam Kher. SaReGaMa-HMV acquired the distribution rights for the film. Om Jai Jagadish was released on 8th July 2002 and takes a screen time of 172 mins. Om Jai Jagadish was made on a budget of ₹13 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. Cinematography was done by Johny Lal and editing by Apurva Asrani. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik along with Ranjit Barot.
