In a post-apocalyptic world, Jack and Victoria work as drone repairers and protectorates of the energy-producing hydrothermal platforms, until Jack discovers his long-lost wife, Julia, in sleep pods and together they uncover the truth about an alien ship exploiting Earths resources, ultimately sacrificing themselves to save humanity and leaving their daughter behind with fellow resistance members. Oblivion is a 2013 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-waldau, Melissa Leo and Nick Kellington. The movie is based on Oblivion by Joseph Kosinski. Relativity Media in association with Chernin Entertainment, Monolith Pictures and Radical Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Duncan Henderson, Joseph Kosinski, Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Barry Levine. Oblivion is written by Joseph Kosinski, Karl Gajdusek and Michael Arndt and it is directed by Joseph Kosinski. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Oblivion was released on 12th April 2013 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Oblivion was made on a budget of $120 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Karl Gajdusek and Michael deBruyn. Cinematography was done by Claudio Miranda and editing by Richard Francis-Bruce. The music was composed by Anthony Gonzalez along with Joseph Trapanese.
