A magistrate named John Baby, who wears a protective face mask after a car accident, investigates a murder story told by a schoolboy and discovers a series of crimes connected to the stories, leading to the arrest of the culprit but also the revelation that the boys mother had been unknowingly transmitting the stories to her subconscious and starts experiencing hallucinations herself.
