A truck driver tries to help a deceased mans family, but things take a turn when the widow is arrested for killing her husbands attempted rapist, leading the driver to take the fall and eventually prove their innocence with the help of a lawyer. Nishpap Asami is a 1997 Indian Bengali-language Drama film featuring Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta, Abhishek Chatterjee, Indrani Dutta, Dulal Lahiri, Subhasish Mukhopadhyay and Anuradha Roy. Nishpap Asami is written by Tapendu Ganguly and Ashok Bhadra and it is directed by Swapan Saha. Nabarun Film Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Nishpap Asami was released on 7th March 1997. The Film was successful at box office. Nishpap Asami was made on a budget of ₹40 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹1 crore. The music was composed by Ashok Bhadra.
