Anthony, Ravi Menon, Kottarakkara Sridharan Nair and Nilambur Balan. The movie is based on Pallivalum Kalchilambum by M. T. Vasudevan Nair. Nirmalayam was Produced by Novel Films. The film is written and directed by M.t. Vasudevan Nair and M. T. Vasudevan Nair. Nirmalayam was released on 1st January 1973 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ramachandra Babu and editing by Ravi. The music was composed by K. Raghavan along with M. B. Sreenivasan. At the 1974 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film. At the 1974 National Film Awards It also won an award for Best Actor (P.J. Anthony).
