After encountering a black-hooded figure and being stabbed, Kotona is saved by her friend Yū, and they are transported to the kingdom of Evermore where they meet Princess Astrid; Yū breaks a curse on Astrid, they are summoned back to the real world after a swordplay test, and later return to Evermore where Haru joins an invasion and Yū tries to reason with the king; they defeat Galeroth and the Black Banner army, and Yū becomes the new king of Evermore, while in Harus world, everyone recovers but forgets Yū except Haru. NiNoKuni is a 2019 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Adventure film featuring Kento Yamazaki, Mackenyu Arata, Mei Nagano, Maaya Sakamoto, Mamoru Miyano, Yuki Kaji and Joe Zieja. The movie is inspired from Ni no Kuni by Akihiro Hino of Level-5. OLM in association with Inc. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tsukasa Koitabashi. The movie is directed by Yoshiyuki Momose. Warner Bros. Pictures Japan acquired the distribution rights for the movie. NiNoKuni was released on 24th January 2020 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $2 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Akihiro Hino. Cinematography was done by Ryo Kurei and editing by Hitoshi Nogawa. The music was composed by Joe Hisaishi.
