A college student named Shiva clashes with a wealthy peer named Vasu, while their friend Shakthi tries to bring them together; Shiva attracts the attention of Meera and faces the disdain of Shalini, leading to a near-death experience where it is revealed that Shalini had tried to kill Shiva in revenge for Shakthis death, but ultimately receives forgiveness and encouragement to marry Meera from Shakthis father.
