Nijam

A powerful gangster named Sidda Reddys right hand, Devudu, becomes enraged when Reddy takes his lover, Malli, to bed, resulting in Devudu killing Reddy and taking over as gang leader; later, a fire officer named Venkateswarlu is framed by Devudu for murder and sent to prison, leading Venkateswarlus son, Seetharam, and his mother to seek revenge by executing those involved and ultimately taking down Devudu. Nijam is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language Action film starring Mahesh Babu, Rakshita, Raasi, Tottempudi Gopichand, Rameshwari Talluri, Ranganath and Vijayachander Telidevara. Chitram Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Teja. The movie is written and directed by Teja. Nijam was released on 23rd May 2003 and takes a screen time of 186 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Nijam was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹10 crore. Cinematography was done by Sameer Reddy and editing by Shankar. The music was composed by R. P. Patnaik.
