Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Nightmare was released on 1st December 2020 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Guillermo del Toro and Kim Morgan. Cinematography was done by Dan Laustsen and editing by Cam McLauchlin. The music was composed by Nathan Johnson.
