Nepaali

The story follows three characters portrayed by the same actor - Nepali, Gautham, and Karthik, as Nepali commits murders and leaves clues, Gautham analyzes the clues and takes charge of the case, and Karthik falls in love with Priya, gets falsely accused of kidnapping, leading to a series of tragic events where Karthik escapes jail, becomes Nepali, and continues killing those who harm women until Gautham discovers Nepalis true identity and confronts him, resulting in a final fight where Gautham shoots Karthik, leading to a heavenly reunion with the souls of Priya and Nepali. Nepaali is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language Crime Romance motion picture starring Meera Jasmine, Govind Namdeo, Prem, Aryan, Ganesh V Pillai, Ritvik Gupta and Jayalakshmi. OST Films Pte Ltd was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rama Saravanan. Nepaali is written by Pattukkottai Prabakar and directed by V. Z. Durai. OST Films Pte Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Nepaali was released on 20th April 2008. The screenplay for the movie was written by V. Z. Durai. Cinematography was done by Madhi and editing by Mathan Gunadeva. The music was composed by Srikanth Deva.
