Krishna Prasad leads a double life as a supposed philanthropist, arranging marriages and jobs for the less fortunate, but in reality, he exploits these women for illegal sex work, while a determined policemans son, Vijay, joins the force to bring him and his partners to justice, facing personal sacrifices and discovering unsettling truths along the way. Sivaji Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Neethiyin Nizhal was released on 13th April 1985. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bharathi-Vasu.
