Nagarvadhu movie is about the story of Sukanya (Vani Viswanath) who is born in a pious Brahmin household as the eldest of three daughters, is a medical student. She is to marry her lover and neighbour Sethu Raman. But when Sethu Raman is hit and killed by a jeep and when Sukanya is abducted and later arrested on charges of prostitution, things take a totally new turn for her.Sukanya is married off to Sreeharshan. Nagaravadhu is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Vani Viswanath, Rajan P. Dev, Mani C. Kappan, Vani Viswanathan, Saikumar Nair, N.f. Varghese and Kollam Thulasi. Okay Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mani C. Kappan. Nagaravadhu is written by Rajan Kiriyath and G.c. Karakkal and it is directed by K Kaladharan. Emil and Eric acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Nagaravadhu was released on 30th November 2001. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rajan Kiriyath. Cinematography was done by Saloo George and editing by L. Bhoominathan. The music was composed by Rajamani along with M. Jayachandran.
