The movie is based on Vekkai by Poomani. Suresh Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kalaippuli S. Thanu and Daggubati Suresh Babu. Naarappa is written by Vetrimaaran and directed by Srikanth Addala. Naarappa was released on 1st May 2020. Cinematography was done by Shyam K. Naidu and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh.
