Mynaa is a Tamil love story that turns tragic when Surulis love for Mynaa leads to his arrest, her mothers broken promise, and a series of events that ends in Mynaas murder, Surulis suicide, and Bhaskars imprisonment. Mynaa is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language Action Romance film featuring Amala Paul, Thambi Ramaiah, Vidharth Subramanian, Thambi Ramayya, Sethu, Suzane George and Hello Kandasamy. Shalom Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Max. The motion picture is written and directed by Prabhu Solomon. Red Giant Movies acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mynaa was released on 5th November 2010 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Mynaa was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹30 crore. Cinematography was done by M. Sukumar and editing by L. V. K. Doss. The music was composed by D. Imman. At the 2011 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Film. At the 2011 National Film Awards It also won an award for Best Supporting Actor (Thambi Ramayya).
