Regal Films in association with GMA Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lily Y. Monteverde, Roselle Monteverde-teo, Annette Gozon-abrogar and Jose Mari Abacan. The movie is written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes. Regal Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. My Monster Mom was released on 2nd July 2008 in Filipino,English and Visayan languages. The Film was successful at box office. My Monster Mom was made on a budget of ₱10 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₱96 million. Cinematography was done by Rodolfo Aves Jr. and editing by Ria de Guzman. The music was composed by Jesse Lucas.
