A respected landlord named Kaalaiyan refuses to sell his property to a dishonorable landlord named Sundaravelu, leading to a jallikattu game with the reward of Kaalaiyans sisters hand in marriage, with Sundaravelu ultimately getting arrested or committing suicide.
