Mumbai Xpress

A group of amateur thieves recruits a deaf stuntman to help them kidnap a rich mans son, but the plan goes awry when they mistakenly take the wrong boy, yet still manage to get a ransom from the father, leading to a series of events where the childs mother enlists the stuntmans help to retrieve the money from her ex-husband, ultimately resulting in the formation of a united group running a prosperous bar. Mumbai Xpress is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Crime film starring Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Om Puri, Saurabh Shukla, Ramesh Aravind, Shama Deshpande and Hardik Thakkar. Raaj Kamal Films International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kamal Haasan and Chandrahasan. Mumbai Xpress is written by Kamal Haasan and Saurabh Shukla and it is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Sahara One Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mumbai Xpress was released on 14th April 2005 and takes a screen time of 152-146 minutes. Mumbai Xpress was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 crore. Cinematography was done by Sidharth and editing by Ashmith Kunder. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
