Benaras Media Works in association with Soham Rockstar Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anubhav Sinha and Deepak Mukut. The film is written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Zee Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mulk was released on 3rd August 2018 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Mulk was made on a budget of ₹19 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹21 crore. Cinematography was done by Ewan Mulligan and Kavita Sachdeva Wani and editing by Ballu Saluja. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik along with Prasad Sashte, Anurag Saikia and Mangesh Dhakde. At the 2019 Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Story.
