A young woman disguises herself as a man to take her fathers place in the army and ultimately becomes a successful soldier, saving the Emperor and earning a position as an officer. Mulan is a 2019 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, Jet Li and Nicholas Walker. The movie is inspired from Disney s Mulan Hua Mulan. Walt Disney Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Bender, Tendo Nagenda, Jason Reed and Jake Weiner. Mulan is written by Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa and it is directed by Niki Caro. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mulan was released on 4th December 2020. Mulan was made on a budget of $200 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Elizabeth Martin, Lauren Hynek, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Cinematography was done by Mandy Walker and editing by David Coulson. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams.
