A single mother, Yashoda, has raised her two children with love and integrity despite the loss of her husband, and she continues to support her troubled son, Shankar, despite his involvement in criminal activities, showcasing the strength of a mothers unconditional love and determination to protect and guide her children. Mujrim is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture starring Mithun Chakraborty, Madhuri Dixit, Amrish Puri, Pallavi Joshi, Shakti Kapoor, Sharat Saxena and G.p. Singh. Mujrim was Produced by Parvesh Mehra. Mujrim is written by Mukul Dutt, P.d. Mehra and Vinay Shukla and it is directed by Umesh Mehra. Eagle Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mujrim was released on 28th June 1989 and takes a screen time of 153 minutes. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik.
