Kaleidoscope Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Katneni. The movie is directed by Rajachandra and Ravi Babu. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mugguru Mithrulu was released on 1st January 1986. The screenplay for the movie was written by Satyanand. Cinematography was done by Sudhakar Reddy and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by Chakri.
