Two teenage boys help a man named Mud find his girlfriend Juniper, but their efforts ultimately result in betrayal and tragedy while Mud and another character sail away on a boat. Everest Entertainment in association with Brace Cove Productions and FilmNation Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aaron Ryder, Sarah Greene, Lisa Maria Falcone and Sarah Green. The motion picture is written and directed by Jeff Nichols. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mud was released on 1st May 2013 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Mud was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Adam Stone and editing by Julie Monroe. The music was composed by David Wingo.
