This film tells the story of J.M.W. Turner, a British painter, and explores his complex relationships, artistic pursuits, and the mixed reception his work receives from the public and aristocracy. Mr. Turner is a 2014 English-language Biography Drama motion picture starring Timothy Spall, Dorothy Atkinson, Marion Bailey, Paul Jesson, Lesley Manville, Martin Savage and Judith Scott. Film4 in association with Focus Features International, Lipsync Productions, DreamWorks Pictures and Xofa Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Georgina Lowe. The film is written and directed by Mike Leigh. Entertainment One Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mr. Turner was released on 6th February 2015 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Mr. Turner was made on a budget of £8 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $22 million. Cinematography was done by Dick Pope and editing by Jon Gregory. The music was composed by Gary Yershon.
