An inspiring documentary thriller Mosul is about a group of non-professional soldiers of the Sunni tribesman, Shiite militias, and Christian fighters who along with Kurdish Peshmerga forces fought against ISIS in 2017 to liberate approximately 1.3 million people in the city of Mosul. The film stars Suhail Dabbach, Adam Bessa, and Is'haq Elias. The screenplay was written by Daniel Gabriel and Mike Tucker and directed by Daniel Gabriel. The film was produced by Matt Schrader for Two Rivers Pictures and was distributed by Gravitas Ventures. Interestingly Mosul premiered at the 2019 Cleveland International Film Festival. The music was composed by Photek. Adept cinematography by Hussein Alla, Ayhab Awaad, Khalid Al Bayatti, Riyadh Gheni, and Anas Al Taiee and clear cut editing by Christopher Campbell makes it a watchable movie. The film was released on 12 April 2019 and occupies a screentime of 86 minutes.
