Cape of Good Films in association with Hope Productions and Fox Star Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akshay Kumar, Aruna Bhatia, Cape Of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios and Anil Naidu. Mission Mangal is written by R. Balki, Jagan Shakti, Nidhi Singh Dharma and Saketh Kondiparthi and it is directed by Jagan Shakti. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mission Mangal was released on 15th August 2019 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Mission Mangal was made on a budget of ₹95 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹192 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi Varman and editing by Chandan Arora. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi along with Tanishk Bagchi.

The films second half picks pace, but is marred by a weak narrative that requires constant suspension of disbelief. Also, the special effects and CGI often lack the finesse that a film mounted on such a grand scale deserved. Overall, Saaho is quite the potboiler that fires in all directions in an attempt to entertain the audience.
