A mans past catches up to him when his college sweetheart claims he fathered her child, causing turmoil within his family and his engagement. Minnaram is a 1994 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama film starring Shobana, Thilakan, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Lalu Alex, Anju Prabhakar, Augustine Mathew and Maria. Goodknight Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) R. Mohan. Minnaram is written by Cheriyan Kalpakavadi and Priyadarshan Nair and it is directed by Priyadarshan Nair. Manorajyam Release acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Minnaram was released on 16th September 1994 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Priyadarshan. Cinematography was done by K. V. Anand and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.
