A small-town dancer named Mimi Rathore agrees to be a surrogate mother for an American couple, but when they discover the baby might have Down syndrome and ask Mimi to abort, she refuses and decides to keep the baby, eventually forming a bond with the child and returning home to raise him with her family. Mimi is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Horror Mystery movie featuring Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Chang-min Shim, Ga-young Moon, Shin Hyon Bin and Deep Joshi. The movie is based on Mala Aai Vhhaychy! by Samruddhi Porey. Mimi was Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios. Mimi is written by Rohan Shankar and Laxman Utekar and it is directed by Laxman Utekar. JioCinema acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mimi was released on 30th July 2021 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. Cinematography was done by Akash Agarwal and editing by Manish Pradhan. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A. R. Rahman.
