A young woman visits her artist fathers abandoned home in Point Dume, discovers his diary about the towns darkness, meets new friends who warn her of town secrets, but ultimately ends up captured by the townspeople and locked up in an insane asylum. Messiah of Evil is a 1973 American English-language Horror movie starring Marianna Hill, Michael Greer, Anitra Ford, Royal Dano, Elisha Cook Jr., Joy Bang and Billy Weber. International Cine Film Corp. in association with V/M Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Willard Huyck and Gloria Katz. The film is written and directed by Willard Huyck and Gloria Katz. Bedford Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Messiah of Evil was released on 2nd May 1973 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. Messiah of Evil was made on a budget of $1 million. Cinematography was done by Stephen Katz and editing by Scott Conrad. The music was composed by Phillan Bishop.
