An eight-year-old boy from a slum takes it upon himself to improve the conditions in his community and writes a letter to the prime minister, seeking help, after his mother is raped while defecating in the open; with the support of his companions, they travel to New Delhi to deliver the letter, while his worried mother later finds him unharmed when he falls into the water while defecating, leading to the construction of a public toilet that brings celebration to the slum.
