A Hindu priest seeking revenge transforms into a killer using various religious guises and continues to carry out his vengeance despite being on the run from the police. Mera Farz is written by Mohan Natarajan, Chella Ayyavu and Ravi Mariya and it is directed by Chella Ayyavu. Anchor Bay Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mera Farz was released on 12th January 2007 and takes a screen time of 162 minutes. Cinematography was done by G. Ramesh and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Srikanth Deva.
