Aamna, an elderly tailor living alone in Delhi, dreams of performing Hajj despite the law in Saudi Arabia prohibiting women without a Mehram, and with her friend Noor Bibi, starts a campaign to seek justice and claim her right to perform the pilgrimage, highlighting womens struggles to pursue their dreams. Mehram is a 2017 Hindi-language Drama film starring Ayesha Khan, Zahid Ahmed, Agha Ali, Moammar Rana, Sajida Syed, Akash Arora and Farida Jalal. Moomal Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Moomal Shunaid. Mehram is written by Zafar Mairaj and directed by Siraj Ul Haq. Movie originally aired on Hum TV. Hum Network Limited acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mehram was released on 11th November 2017. The music was composed by Stephan Zacharias.
