A respected poets uninspiring marriage leads him to become infatuated with an artistic woman, causing distress and pain in his life, until his ultimate demise after reuniting with his wife. Meghasandesam is a 1982 Indian Telugu-language Drama Musical movie featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Jaya Prada, Kongara Jaggaiah, Subhashini and Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna. Taraka Prabhu Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dasari Narayana Rao. The motion picture is written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. Meghasandesam was released on 4th June 1982 and takes a screen time of 151 minutes. Cinematography was done by P. S. Selvaraj and editing by B. Krishnam Raju. The music was composed by Ramesh Naidu. At the 1983 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. At the 1983 National Film Awards It also won 3 awards including: Best Playback Singer (Female), Best Playback Singer (Male) and Best Music Director.
