Mugilan, a middle-class forensic officer investigates the mysterious disappearance of his love interest Megha and becomes embroiled in a complex investigation involving a corrupt police officer and the challenges faced by the middle-class. Megha is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language Romance Romance motion picture starring Ashwin Kakumanu, Srushti Dange, Angana Roy, V. Jayaprakash, Vijayakumar, Y.g. Mahendran and Vee Jenish. GB Studio was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Albert J and S. Selvakumar. Megha is written by Karthick Rishi and directed by Karthick Rishi and Karthik Rishi. JSK Film Corporation acquired the distribution rights for the film. Megha was released on 29th August 2014. Megha was made on a budget of ₹80 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹35 lakh. Cinematography was done by R. B. Gurudev and editing by Ram Sudharsan. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja along with Ilaiyaraja.

Karthik Rishi deserves applause for trying to go with an unconventional screenplay. The way he has gelled a poetic love track along with an investigative thriller track is particularly impressive.
