Two individuals, Rajeevan and Nandita, who are married to different people, unexpectedly cross paths and develop a strong mental bond, leading Nandita to discover Rajeevans identity as her childhood friend, although she tries to maintain distance, she eventually reveals her true self through a book and they decide to part ways, only to reunite in the future unknowingly. Megamalhar is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language Musical Romance motion picture featuring Biju Menon, Samyuktha Varma, Poornima Mohan, Raghavan, Siddique, Sivaji and Siam Howlader. Mathrubhumi in association with Asianet. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. V. Shreyams Kumar and Asianet. The movie is directed by Kamal. Sargam Speed Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Megamalhar was released on 1st December 2001. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kamal. Cinematography was done by Venugopal and editing by Beena Paul. The music was composed by Ramesh Narayan.
