Meet Joe Black is a 1998 American English-language Drama Fantasy movie featuring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Claire Forlani, Jake Weber, Marcia Gay Harden, Jeffrey Tambor and Josh Mowery. City Light Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Martin Brest and Ronald L. Schwary. Meet Joe Black is written by Ron Osborn, Jeff Reno, Kevin Wade, Bo Goldman, Alberto Casella, Walter Ferris, Maxwell Anderson and Gladys Lehman and it is directed by Martin Brest. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Meet Joe Black was released on 21st January 1999 and takes a screen time of 181 minutes. Meet Joe Black was made on a budget of $90 million and at the box office it grossed only $9 million. Cinematography was done by Emmanuel Lubezki and editing by Joe Hutshing and Michael Tronick. The music was composed by Thomas Newman.
