Meet Dave

A young boy finds an alien metal ball, aliens plan to drain Earths oceans but change their minds after befriending the boy and his mother, tension arises within the alien crew, the Captain is arrested but regains control and chooses to save Earth, the metal ball is retrieved and the aliens escape while the FBI captures their spaceship, and the Captain proposes to Number 3 before leaving for their home planet. Meet Dave is a 2008 American English-language Adventure Comedy motion picture featuring Eddie Murphy, Elizabeth Banks, Gabrielle Union, Scott Caan, Ed Helms, Kevin Hart and Aaron Massey. Deep River Productions in association with Dune Entertainment, Regency Enterprises, Guy Walks Into a Bar Productions, Friendly Films and Tollin/Robbins Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jon Berg, David T. Friendly and Todd Komarnicki. Meet Dave is written by Rob Greenberg, Bill Corbett, Jon Berg, David T. Friendly, Thomas M. Hammel, Todd Komarnicki, Arnon Milchan and Lars P. Winther and it is directed by Brian Robbins. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Meet Dave was released on 1st January 2008 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. Meet Dave was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $51 million. Cinematography was done by J. Clark Mathis and editing by Ned Bastille. The music was composed by John Debney.
