A woman named Meera loves Lord Krishna more than her husband, and even when accused of being a traitor and sentenced to death, her devotion to Lord Krishna remains unshakeable, ultimately leading her to become one with him in the end. Meera is a 1979 Indian Hindi-language Drama History film starring Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Shreeram Lagoo, Shammi Kapoor, Dina Pathak, Vidya Sinha and J.n. Manchanda. Meera was Produced by Premji, and J.n. Manchanda. Meera is written by Bhushan Banmali and Gulzar Kalra and it is directed by Gulzar Kalra. Suchitra International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Meera was released on 18th May 1979 and takes a screen time of 155 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Gulzar. Cinematography was done by K. Vaikunth and editing by Waman Bhonsle, Gurudutt Shirali and Dilip Kotalgi. The music was composed by Pandit Ravi Shankar.
