Potential Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sr Prabhu, S. R. Prakashbabu, S. R. Prabhu, Prabhu Venkatachalam, Gopinath P. and Thanga Prabaharan R. Maya is written by Ashwin Saravanan, S.r. Prabhu and S.r. Prakashbabu and it is directed by Ashwin Saravanan. Sri Thenandal Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Maya was released on 17th September 2015 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Maya was made on a budget of ₹10 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹45 crore. Cinematography was done by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by T. S. Suresh. The music was composed by Ron Ethan Yohann.
