Mausam follows the love story of Harinder Singh Harry and Aayat, who meet in 1992, separate multiple times due to various conflicts and events, and ultimately adopt a baby and have a child together. Mausam is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance motion picture featuring Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Shayan Munshi, Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Aditi Sharma and Musa Muhammed Olayinka. Bad Angels Productions in association with A 5678 Productions and Disney Channel Original Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Madhu Mantena Varma, Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Vinod Talwar. Mausam is written by Carl Austin and Pankaj Kapur and it is directed by Pankaj Kapur. Eros International Media Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mausam was released on 22nd September 2011 and takes a screen time of 168 minutes. Mausam was made on a budget of ₹49 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹31 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Pankaj Kapur. Cinematography was done by Binod Pradhan and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty.

Bad, bad idea. He knows it cluelessly, abruptly, his face automatically falls. Not everyone can get away with that, and in his latest film Shahid Kapoor is visibly better equipped to play a baby than call a woman one.
