This 2016 English film follows the life of Maudie who becomes a painting artist from a housekeeper. The movie was written by Sherry White and directed by Aisling Walsh. It was produced by Bob Cooper, Mary Young Leckie, Mary Sexton, and Susan Mullen. It was tastefully captured by Guy Godfree and edited by Stephen O’Connell. Michael Timmins composed the music. It was released on 2 September 2016 and has a running time of 116 minutes. This project was on development for 13 years. The movie was made on a budget of $5.6 million and it grossed $9.7 million at the box office. The distribution rights were acquired by Mongrel Media. A PG-13 certificate for the movie was provided by the MPAA.
