Mascots was Produced by Karen Murphy. Mascots is written by Christopher Guest and Jim Piddock and it is directed by Christopher Guest. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mascots was released on 13th October 2016 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. Cinematography was done by Kris Kachikis and editing by Andrew Dickler. The music was composed by Jeffrey C.j. Vanston.

      But Mascots isnt a knowing send up of anything.It doesnt resemble a fake documentary so much as an homage to its directors own greatest hits, recycling bits from earlier movies to diminished effecta pathological laziness typified by the pointless inclusion of Guests Guffman character, Corky St. Clair, who returns here to wear funny outfits and nod approvingly in reaction shots.
