Pricel in association with Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, American Zoetrope and Path. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ross Katz and Sofia Coppola. The motion picture is written and directed by Sofia Coppola. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Marie Antoinette was released on 20th October 2006 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Marie Antoinette was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $60 million. Cinematography was done by Lance Acord and editing by Sarah Flack At the 2007 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Achievement in Costume Design.
