A determined female police officer named Shivani Shivaji Roy relentlessly hunts down a psychopathic killer named Sunny, who kidnaps, tortures, and murders women, eventually unveiling his tragic past and defeating him in a final confrontation witnessed by the neighborhood. Yash Raj Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aditya Chopra. The film is written and directed by Gopi Puthran. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mardaani 2 was released on 13th December 2019 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
