In the first story, a girl named Basi with the ability to communicate with snakes defies societal norms to save the life of her forbidden love, Suman, ultimately gaining acceptance for their relationship. In the second story, a girl named Nandini discovers her divine origins as the daughter of Maa Monosha and a serpent princess, and embarks on a perilous journey to retrieve a stolen snake jewel, ultimately saving her parents and seeking forgiveness. The movie is inspired from The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. New Line Cinema in association with Ingenious Film Partners and Scholastic Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bill Carraro and Deborah Forte.
