A young man fights against illegal petrol sales and petroleum adulteration in his sales officer position, which ultimately leads to his brutal murder, but his supporters continue to fight for his cause. Varma and it is directed by Sandeep A. Varma. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Manjunath was released on 9th May 2014 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. Manjunath was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹33 lakh. Cinematography was done by Prakash Kutty and editing by Sandeep Francis.
