Accused of heinous crimes he didn t commit, a prosecutor sets out on a mission to clear his name. Manhunt is a 2017 Japanese-language Action Thriller film starring Zhang Hanyu, Masaharu Fukuyama, Qi Wei, Ha Jiwon, Jun Kunimura, Hanyu Zhang and Yusuke Kitaguchi. The movie is based on Kimi yo Funnu no Kawa o Watare by Juko Nishimura. Media Asia in association with China Film, Media Asia Audio Video Distribution and Shenzhen Murmur Culture Communications. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gordon Chan. The movie is directed by John Woo. Manhunt was released on 23rd November 2017 in Japanese,English and Mandarin languages and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. Manhunt was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only $18 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Gordon Chan, Chan Hing Kai, James Yuen, Itaru Era, Ho Miu Ki, Maria Wong and Sophie Yeh. Cinematography was done by Takuro Ishizaki and editing by Lee Ka Wah. The music was composed by Taro Iwashiro.
